Thunderbird version 2 beta 2 (20070202) seems to have a bug on the Mac G4 and G5 PowerPC running 10.4.8. It doesn't remember the last position or last message selected when opened even though my prefs are checked to remember the last selected message. I tried trashing my prefs and starting fresh. The issue still exists. Versions of TB 1.5.x do not have this problem.

Also, there are 2 different variations of light blue used on the left side area. (The top blue: #ebedf7; the bottom blue: #e6edf7) The first blue variation ends where the account folders end. Sure, I could modify my userChrome to match it, but I thought the developers should take notice.
